Dream Big

Hello, welcome back, and thank you for taking the time to read my blog!

In my last post, I mentioned that I was a big dreamer. So, I wanted to make a post about where I dream my business will be 5 years from now. Personally, I think the biggest thing that I hope to have is a lot of personal autonomy. I would like to be able to choose the work and jobs that I take, the ones that inspire me, instead of having to take everything in order to keep my head above water. I would love to be based somewhere in BC, I’ve just always thought that it is a super cool and photogenic place to be, with the forest, ocean, mountains, and city skyline just sitting there. Because I’m a huge camera nerd, I could go on for hours about all the camera gear that I would buy but I’ll probably just end up making that its own post, “My dream camera bag” or something along those lines. One thing I would definitely want is some kind of studio space. Although one of my favorite things about photography is the places it takes you and the fact that being in an office every day is the complete opposite of what I want out of this profession, a base of operation would be good and I think it would be a fun project to make it my own. And of course, for my product work and studio portraits it would be awesome to have a large space to make my creative concepts come to life.
